I have tried everything and have that exact setup......I am ready to buy a printer that really works,,,,....
AFAIK, there are no RPM's for gimp-print. I downloaded the tarball. Compiled it with support for CUPS. The correct driver appears in the CUPS configuration. I don't know if it appears under YaST/YaST2. Gimp-print came from linuxprinting.org: http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_driver.cgi?driver=gimp-print. There are links to installation instructions on the site too. If you're having specific problems, e-mail me the details and I'll try help. No guarantees. -- Robert Wohlfarth rjwohlfar@galaxyinternet.net "Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?" -- Matthew 6:25b
