I'm a SuSE newbie so I don't know how to do it with a GUI. The traditional way is to edit /etc/resolv.conf and replace the "domain" line with a search line. ie. search my.domain my.otherdomain It has been a while since I have done this, but man resolv.conf should tell you the details of what to do. Can anyone advise how to set-up the DNS search order within SuSE 8 as one would for Windows? I have a Win98 box running both Vpop3 (email server) and Vsocks Light (proxy server and firewall). Yes I know this is available with SuSE but I have got to get certain things working and know how first. I am able to both use and log into Vpop3 but not able to access the Internet. Regards
