Well, if you want a true printer solution under Linux why not spend the
cash to get ESP Pro which is much more refined then CUPS (free version
of ESP Pro). I mean CUPS *is* free. If you want something that works and
will give you someone to call and help you through things ..then I
suggest ESP Pro. I have a SuSE 8.0 box here and it prints pretty damn
well for 55 people in my dept..which includes about 40 engineers, 5
project managers (using Windows), and 5 UI developers running Mac's
(OSX). I mean if your gonna give up on things such as CUPS then your
really, really gonna hate the fact that Apple licensed CUPS/ESP Pro from
ESP and is integrating it into the next full version of OSX due out in
August. And I know..I know..." But were on OS9. Well, that maybe true
for a bit but it's been "end of lifed" at Apple so OSX is going to be
the default from now on.

If it's true that our species is alone in the
universe, then I'd have to say that the universe
aimed rather low and settled for very little. -GC
