I have just tried, for the second time, to install SuSE8 onto a Windows
System in dual boot (the first time I lost everthing and had to wipe the
drive and start all over again). Once again I was able to install SuSE then
could not boot into Windows only Linux.

In Linux fdisk -l produced

Disk /dev/hda
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hda1 1 479 3847536 c Win95 FAT32 (LBA)
/dev/hda2 1122 1245 996030 f Win95 Ext'd (LBA)
/dev/hda3 * 480 481 16065 linux
/dev/hda4 482 1121 5140800 linux
/dev/hda5 1122 1245 995998+ b Win95 FAT32

Disk /dev/hdb (this is my data drive, thank goodness)
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/hdb1 * 1 775 3124768 b Win95 FAT32 (LBA)

When I tried to change the configuration with YaST2 I received the error;
Warning; LBA32 addressing assumed. Device 0x0301: Partition type 0x0c does
not seem suitable for LILO Boot Sector.

Using a Windows boot diskette and FDISK I found partition 2 as active and
after setting partition 1 as active I am able to boot into windows but
cannot know boot into Linux.

Suggestion to overcome this would be appriciated
