Very sensible :)
When I tried to change the configuration with YaST2 I received the error; Warning; LBA32 addressing assumed. Device 0x0301: Partition type 0x0c does not seem suitable for LILO Boot Sector.
Had to look it up to be certain: http://www.santools.com/smart/manual/partitionlayout.htm -or, rather; You cannot put the boot loader on the W$ partition... Try again, but this time put it in the MBR... This *should* work... Until I finally kicked W$ I had lots of dual-booting going. Always put it Lilo in mbr, always worked. Oh, and when you get into Yast2 to do this, the option to add 'other' OS really *ought* to make windows boot... hmmm... maybe hda1 *does* need to be the 'active' partition... IRC W$ is kind of picky with that... (?)
Using a Windows boot diskette and FDISK I found partition 2 as active and after setting partition 1 as active I am able to boot into windows but cannot know boot into Linux.
