I'm not sure what other details there are. The prudent ftp'er downloads a new copy of /pub/ls-Ral.txt.gz every few days and greps that to find a specific file or uses the full-names directories. If you are installing something that has a lot of dependencies or you don't know what the dependencies are off the top of your head you should yast to install the package. -- -ckm
