This I understand. In some ways, I am tempted to upgrade to 8, but when I see 
the problems people have experienced on the list, I can't really bring myself 
to it. After all, I haven't yet gotten 7.3 working the way I want yet and 
being a newbie, I would need a serious newbie guide before I attempted the 
upgrade as is for 8. Maybe 8.1 will be a smoother upgrade?

Too bad about the 7.3 RPMs, it would have made life a lot easier for me .-( 
Well, all I can say at this point is that the jury is still out as to what 
kind of printer I will get.
