this worked for some of my machines, but the machines that have snmp installed gave me this error: error: failed dependencies: snmp conflicts with ucdsnmp-4.2.3-79 Since there is not yet an update for snmp, is there any way to install ucdsnmp? To my knowledge, no one is actually USING snmp on this machine, so I don't really care if it breaks snmp. thanks, Walter Moore Christopher Mahmood wrote:

I know what the advisory said. Its NOT allowing me to update the package though. So my question is, how do I update the package? I have the update for the package mod_php4 also, but I can't update THAT if I can't update the ucdsnmp. help?
rpm -Uvh --nodeps ucdsnmp.rpm rpm -Uvh mod_php4.rpm
