Hi All, I recently installed the trial crossover plugin (worked quite nicely) and it took over the tiff mimetype, such that a click in Konqueror on a tif thumbnail would try to start the plugin. I just want to view the file at full size, and certainly don't want to launch crossover every time. I changed the mimetypes for tiff and xtiff to the embeddable image viewer under embeddable, and pixieplus express in the 'general' settings. Now clicking on the tiff thumbnail apparently launches the embeddable viewer, but this merely produces a dark grey rectangle rather than the image. Questions 1) Why did I find a type defined for both tiff and x-tiff? It's not the only mimetype with an 'x-' version. I know I should know this by now, but ... 2) Is the embeddable image viewer capable of displaying tiff images or am I just asking the wrong prog? 3) Anyone clear on the lightest, quickest way of getting Mozilla to display tif files? 4) What docs should I have read instead of asking this list? Sorry, not intended to be laziness, I've just bogged down among the mimetypes. Best Fergus
