Hi all, I have a problem that I can't understand, Linux newbie that I am... My system is a Dual Celeron (SMP) system behind a KVM-switch. 128MB RAM on an ABit BP6 motherboard, Riva graphics and SuSE 8.0 Personal. Once in a while the system just hangs, as in Reset time. Desktop is froze on a screensaver. Can't kill X, can't ping from another box, can't do anything but reset it. Looking in /etc/messages I see nothing that looks odd, and no other logfile seems to contain anything useful. The only strange thing is a lot of APIC errors happening almost every third minute or so, but I've read in the FAQ that I shouldn't worry about that ? Only thing running, apart from SuSE itself, is Apache 2.0.36, and I can't find any errors in the logfiles there either. Any hints as to where I should start investigating is most appreciated. -- Anders Jarnberg in Stockholm, Sweden running SuSe 8.0
