Hi all, I've been using SuSE 8.0 for a while now, and I feel comfortable enough with it to put it on my server. Said server is running 7.3 with all partitions save root on an LVM. (One of the things I love about SuSE is its support for LVM out of the box.) Now here's my problem: I've tried once before to do a clean install on an existing LVM, instructing the install to format all LVM paritions except /dev/system/home. It croaked, and I ended up having to delete the LVM and re-create it. Is there a way to do this, or should I just back everything up, wipe the disk, and create a new LVM? -- Bill, looking forward to the day when LVM is integral (a la AIX), not added on.
