Is there a simply way to set numlock on when kde boots in SuSE 8.0? I have looked in the help and it says tahat I need to run a script that creates a file and to place that file in a certain folder etc. Is it that complex or am have I overlooked something?
How can it get more simple :) In the old days you had to patch your X server to get you numlock to be on automatically.
http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/cg_x11numlock.html has a small C program that will do this for you...just follow the instructions.
