I never had much luck with susehelp in any version. It was always
clunky and semi-broken. Go directly to the package docs, most of which
are in /usr/share/doc/package/<package-name>, or the howtos in
/usr/share/doc/howto.
The strange susehelp/apache/htdig mix is thankfully gone in 8.0.
