Hi all: Today I installed the imlib-631 security upgrade. I did not install the config or devel upgrades as they were not x'd as being needed. Now I am getting this error message when attempting to run the GRAMPS program. It is a Gnome genealogy program. It worked before the update. Can anyone help me get around this problem?

Hi Ralph,
did you remember to run ldconfig after installing imlib? HTH.
Cheers, Marcel Marcel: I did not ldconfig because I use You to get the up date and it runs all the config stuff. But just in case I did run it as root and get the same result. I also recieved this from the progam developer:
I've seen this error before, and there is a way around it. You have to define the LD_PRELOAD environment variable. This happens when a library is build incorrectly, and does not record its dependancies. I'll look this up when I get home and see if I can figure you what you need to set the variable to (or backing out to a non-broken library will work as well).
