I seem to be having a problem on boot up with 8.0. The system hangs at the point in the boot process that it says "Starting Hardware Scan on Boot"...it just sits there and doesn't get any farther. The system is still responsive and I can ctrl-alt-del to reboot. After 3 or 4 retries it will get past this to finish off the boot process. This options comes right after the "Starting HotPlugging Services [net pci usb]" portion of the boot process. Any insight would be appreciated, since I've never seen this problem b4 with any other kernel's or OS versions. TIA __ Mark Doucette kranked@oberon.ark.com WinFree and Lovin' it. SuSE Rox Linux!
