I installed WordPerfect Office 2000 using the downloadable Corel installation script, but it does not show up on the KDE3 menus.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

The icon group will be hidden in one of your legacy icon locations. If I remember correctly, Corel installs icon groups in /usr/share/applnk, ~/.kde/share/applnk, or /opt/kde/share/applnk. If any of your kde dirs have a "3" on the end, that will be your problem. This will be a difference of the kdedir as seen by the WPO install script, and as seen by your SuSEConfig. You would think the two would be the same but they're not. When I installed Corel PhotoPaint last week, I had to chase the icons as well. Found them under ~/.kde. If they are still using /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk or some such for the SuSE icons, you can simply move the group/folder there and the icons should appear on the menu. JS
