Hi, first of all i'd like to thank you all for helping me with the 3D acceleration problem i had... I downloaded the xf86_glx.rpm file from suse ftp and now averything is fine. I have a last problem now. I cannot get greek layout from my keyboard using kde (well i didn't test with other WMs). Switching to the greek layout I get some weird (to me ) characters (cyrillic?). But i get render with no problems greek fonts (not the one typed by me :-( )... it is not a problem with my system comfiguration. I tried it out in several computers with no luck. Anybody? Anytip?
Thanx in advance for everything Knightmare
Hi, If you want to have full greek language support, you can try the following instructions: 1. First of all you have to install the package "xfgreek" from suse's cds. 2. Then under Yast2_Control_Center-> System-> RC_Config_Editor-> Base-Administration-> Localisation set up the following values rc_lang = el_GR rc_lc_all = el_GR root_uses_lang = yes 3. Restart. 4. Edit the file /etc/X11/XF86Config Section "InputDevice" Driver "keyboard" .................. .................. edit this line Option "XkbLayout" "gr" .................. .................. add the line Option "XkbOptions" "grp:alt_shift_toggle" EndSection 5. Then under Control_Center-> Personalization-> Country_&_Language set up the following values Country: Greece(gr) Language: Default(C) Charset: iso8859-7 Click on "Apply" button. 6. Restart. After that you have to use the iso8859-7 charset in every KDE app. Please keep me informed.
