Hi.
In the old Kmail as here in the SuSE 7.2 there is a setup, where one can
choose SMTP. There is also a field to place the servername, and at last there
is the portnumber. taht defaults to 25.
In the SuSE 8.0, that I received yesterday, there are also the option to
choose SMTP, and there is a filed with "name". Is that "name" the server name
?. At last there are also the portnumber here.
I have set the name to localhost.
All my mails are then saved in the outbox, and stands there for always.
My network is ok, as I can send and receive mails from Netscape.
I have the sendmail_smarthost set to the mail.tele.dk that is my ISP.
Where do you think the culprit are to be found ?.
