noninteractive autoupdating (newbie with SuSE distro)

How can I use yast2 to autoupdate the packages noninteractively, from a
mirror, during the night?
In Red Hat, I would run up2date in a daily cron job and would receive email with the output.
I started using this distro only a short while ago, and I can't seem to find the way to do this, in the SuSE "approved" fashion. There is a script on sourceforge, but I would strongly prefer something from SuSE.
