I tried sux in place of kdesu, and it fails whether in user or root console.

But the inconvenience is I can't right-click & edit a file in Konq. In Konq I
cannot right-click|OpenWith|Advanced Editor a file:

"KDEInit could not launch 'kwrite'".

Does anyone else see this?
