I tried this,(INITRD_MODULES="reiserfs" "usbcore usb-uhci") it came up with
unknown command usbcore, so tried INITRD_MODULES="reiserfs" "usbcore
usb-uhci", came up with the same, but then said loading module usb-ushci.
Done the mk_initrd and the lilo, then when I rebooted, it came up with
kernel panic and halted.

No luck yet getting it fixed, so guess I'll have to reinstall.

Subject: [SLE] workaround for usb mouse problem in 8.0

Several people have run into problems with USB mice in 8.0. The
mouse works fine during the installation but afterwards is dead in
X. The problem is a bug in the hotplug script which is being fixed
now but as a workaround putting usbcore and usb-uhci into the initrd
solves the problem. In /etc/sysconfig/kernel add "usbcore usb-uhci"
to the INITRD_MODULES variable, run /sbin/mk_initrd and /sbin/lilo .
