-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all: I have one SuSE 8.0 problem I would like to clear up. I have seen the problem listed but no solution as of yet. The Problem. When I use YOU in the root partion to do an update. It errors out on the either GnuPG is not installed or the discription file/header is corrupt message. Now GPG is installed, and the .gpg directory is their with the necessary files. I am able to log into my user directory and update normally. The .gpg directory in my user partion was carried over from my 7.3 install. My root was not but was created during the fresh install of 8.0. My feeling is that the root .gpg files are corrupt. My Question is can I safely delete the .gpg sub directory and expect it to be recreated correctly when I attempt to use YOU to update? Or is there some other way that will correct the problem? - -- Ralph - -- It said uses Windows 98 or better so I installed SuSE 7.3 Proud user of SuSE 7.3 Professional Register Linux User 168814 ICQ #49993234 GPG Public Key available at http://www.keyserver.net Key fingerprint = 6426 1CFF 0987 9D51 76D6 06BC F22A CFF4 559A 03E7 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8x9t18irP9FWaA+cRAkODAJ9bMclo85EJrzPGHWrJa0iAaNKlvwCgpVEn s4Sl3QENQhOdawjB3hYJTuk= =4fZy -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
