In theory, if it prints on NT, it should print jobs sent to it from a
Linux machine. I always prefer NOT to daisy chain parallel devices, it
is a hack, some combinations work, other don't.

Depending on the scanner, the sane package may work. Again, I'd rather
install a second parallel port if you want them both on the same
machine.
