Tor,
Just something worth noting: You DONT install KDE/GNOME/WhatEver on a server. uh - yes you do. how else do you propose to serve KDE sessions to a load of users that are using a thin client - from my laptop perhaps?
For the record: I would never help fixing a GUI on a server ! Want GUI on "server", get Windows. Like, as in Windows 2000 Terminal Services you mean?
And for krissakes search for this issue in the older messages, solutions have been posted in masses. At least two by me. ( NO, I'm not going to repeat myself) Did search this issue, and it is *not* in the mails. Sorted it out myself, thank you very much.
Thanks for your constructive feedback. Or as an old boss of mine used to say - if you don't have anything nice to say, say it loudly, and often. I guess you hang out on /. as well, right? Martijn
