okie ... okie ... this kind of reaction I am expecting from SuSE not from some athers Happy SuSE users like me. Of course I don't try to make peoples from SuSE work around this issue and I don't try to put the new 8.0 in a defavorable light. It was about announcing a temporar resolution of a little problem. I am not even sure that this is going to be a 8.0 version bug or something ... I am just using a so called "experimental" kernel from Mantell and I don't know if this 2.4.18 kernel it is used in 8.0. This is a minor problem from alsa or something around Yast2 inside my 7.3 SuSE ... maybe in 8.0 this is fine ... also in 2.4.16 everithing is workin normaly, without some others workarounds ... was just an issue of me claiming some help some light in an issue which I dont know very well.
