First of all let me say that I think I finally have X configured. :) Also, I was mistaken about the video card - it is an old ATI mach 64. Anyway, neither sax nor sax2 would work (both crashed). So I first used the text-based XF86Config setup process through Yast1 (yea - good old Yast1 !!) and got a semi-working setup (things like the mouse were a little flacky). Next I tried the XF86Setup process and this seems to have worked out fine! Now, if technical services will only fix the 2nd LAN port in my office, I'll actually be able to get out on the network........:) Thanks!
