Thanks - I tried to do that a little while
ago, but the machine hung at the install
menu screen (I couldn't make any choices).
Right now I'm formatting one of the SCSI
drives (getting a 'drive not ready' message).
When that is done, I'll try to boot w/
safe settings again.

I managed to get my hands on a second machine at
work and wanted to install 7.3. When its trying to boot
from either the floppy or CD I get the following message:
<0>Kernel panic: Attempted to kill the idle task!
In idle task - not syncing
It stops there and there is no further response. Can
anyone tell me where to go from here?
