Thanks for the info. The Apache logs shows that a connection was made and
file served. Did some testing and found out that a file under 1027 bytes
was served ok. I took my switch (Compex PS2208B) out and replaced it with
a 10 MB hub. Problem went away. Must have been a problem regarding the
switch
and this particular NIC.
