I hate to do this. But here goes...

I have an HP 600C Deskjet and I want to replace it. This thing is so old
God printed the 10 commandments on it. It prints "ok" but I would like
something a wee bit faster and with clearer text.

Any suggestions in the $300 range? And no multi-function things. Just a
straight printer will do. :)

BTW...that muttprint question from earlier seems to have solved itself.
I installed some of the missing tex pkgs and whatever it didn't have
that made it cranky..it's got now and with muttprint+CUPS...man this is
sweet. :) Printing from terminal apps is no longer a pain in the
ass..just pipe it through muttprint and it formats everything quite
nicely.
