I have checked the disk permissions, the cd to soundcard audio cable is intact, the sound card is playing system sounds, the K cdplayer finds the cd and identfies the artist/song name.
I have looked on the suse website for any other relevant articles and have found none.....the cd is actually a cd-rw, and is identified correctly by the OS.
