I have been trying to connect using ADSL on my SuSE 7.3 system today, but when I try, /var/log/messages just shows: Feb 23 21:11:38 dragoon pppd[25742]: PPPoE Plugin Initialized Feb 23 21:11:38 dragoon pppd[25742]: Plugin passwordfd.so loaded. This same configuration worked last night at about 10 p.m., but when it tried to demand dial unattended during the night (about 00:19), it started this behavior. I can still connect using ISDN, and I checked my ISP's (1und1.de) web site, but did not see any reports of outages - just press releases. Any thoughts on what this could be? Could it be an outage on my ISP's side? Or, is it me? Cheers, Sean -- Theo.
