What Linux-based e-mail package would be a good replacement for MS Exchange Server?
That sort of depends on your needs. If you want a full replacement for exchange that you can hook your outlook clients to, Bynari has something called InsightConnector that will reportedly make any IMAP server look like an exchange server, with full support for calendaring, scheduling and everything. You could connect this to the cyrus IMAP server which is on SuSE's DVD.
What about replacing the Global Address List(GAL)B?? I know LDAP (slapd)will do the trick, but the Outlook clients will not connect like the GAL on Exchange. Has anyone successfully replaced the GAL? -- Tony Zafiropoulos FixMyVirus.com Cel: 314-504-3974 tonyz@fixmyvirus.com Best way to reduce your virus exposure? Run Linux - Replace Windows one system at a time.
