My main drive is NTSF and I can't partition it because w2k is already loaded and I don't want to format and start over since it's my work computer. My next option is to install Suse on a second hard drive and dual boot.
My question is:
1) Am I correct to assume that I can install Linux on a second (or D:) drive?
I am running SuSE 7.3 pro from the 3rd hard drive on a Promise 100 controller card.
2) How can I dual boot? Will installation place the lilo on my primary drive or do I have to use a boot disk?
I triple boot, have MD7.1 & MD8.0 on another drive. I prefer floppy disk for lilo.
3) Won't a boot disk slow down the linux system?
