Do you have the file : /etc/rc.d/init.d/lpd ? I suspect the said file is in : /etc/rc.d/lpd on your system. Just make a symlink ... and it should fix the file not found message. Below is from command line....errors trying to install the Lexmark Z52 driver from Lexmark. The only thing I can think of that may be causing an install problem is the "persoanl firewall." Does anyone see anything here that would help? The lpd file DOES exist, by the way.
