I knew that this was possible. Now it occurs to me to ask, How do you *install* a windows program in Linux? With Wine?
Yeah. That's the hard part though. However, I've found that the version of WINE included with Codeweavers Crossover plugin seems to be able to handle some InstallShield installers. It'll even add icons to a "Wine" menu in KDE, and place appropriate app icons on the desktop just like in Windows! QuickTime works well, although any MS app I tried bailed out. UltraEdit should too, it worked very nicely with the Corel Wine that came with Corel Photo-Paint. -Tim -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R.
