I would spend the little bit to buy an SBLive card for this box. I had
nothing but trouble with the AC97 onboard chipset in my desktop at work.
Your mileage may vary, but you could just save yourself the headache. I
bought an SBLive for work and since then I've had no issues. I just
disabled onboard sound.
