While we're on the subject, how do any of you with similar setups handle a situation where you have *multiple* E-mail addresses, and want each outgoing reply to be From: the address that the E-mail replied to was sent To:?
I have kludged together a few things to deal with this, but I am not entirely happy with them; among other things, I've changed my pine settings to set the envelope sender to my "primary" E-mail address (i.e., it's always the same address, whereas I'd prefer for the envelope sender to match the From: in the header).
Mozilla Mail handles this quite nicely. it can not only handle multiple addresses, but can handle different SMTP servers as well. I check 3 addresses, and send with 3 different SMTP settings, though I only 'use' the one address as the reply to. To keep them separate, I added an initial (i.e NTM) to differentiate the accounts when I compose a message, which makes it go out the correct SMTP server (i.e this box and server at work, as well as ISPs). Try it out, it is pretty slick. YMMV. -- Joe & Sesil Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871
