No, you can't burn a bootable cdrom with those files, you will have to create boot disks (boot, modules1, modules2) using RAWRITE and then start your system from those floppies. Once the setup is started just choose the hdd partition as the source medium and start the installation! I wasn't able to start the graphical setup thou... i managed to install SuSE through the "old" text based setup. Bye Andrea
hi I'm downloading suse 7.3 from ftp to my hard disk. I would ask what should I do after download full 7.3 folder. Shoud I write it to Cdrom , will it be bootable?? How to install new version of suse thanks for any help.
