I would say a combination of both, webadmin falling for the proprietary functions provided
in IE (or not smart enough to test in any other browsers) and using them, Microsoft for
implementing non-standard (read proprietary) capabilities in html and java script.

I've fixed the problem by opening a new account in the ForeningsSparbanken. Netscape seems to work with their web pages. It took less than 1 hour, I just have to wait for a new VISA card ...
Anyway, I'd really like to know whether a webadmin stupidity or Microsoft's activity is to be blamed in the case of Nordea.
