Hi, I've found a bug in YOU, surrounding the selection of the source of installation in YAST2 and the source of the actual patches that YOU is going to use. If the installation source is changed or if the something goes wrong with a YOU update session, YOU becomes permanently disabled: the drop down box to select between ftp sources is empty and the expert dialog changes (it's missing the ftp selection). And additionally YOU becomes *excruciatingly* slow (as it's waiting for a failed RPC to timeout) Things I've tried: ftp the entire update directory and share it via NFS and FTP; copy it local the local machine. None of these work because YOU is convinced it cannot mount the required directory or cannot find something. Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone found a work around? Does anyone no how I can fix YOU at all or what gets changed that distresses YOU so much?
