nope. this isn't indicative of anything wrong with your drive. it 
*is* indicative of an 80-conductor ide cable -- needed for some 
faster udma modes -- that isn't up to snuff.

it's not destructive, but it is worth fixing, which fix comes in the 
form of a new cable.
