Tried that and it doesn't work. You can enter the extension but it will not remain in the file filter box. I received information (via newsgroup) that the extension has to be compiled into the program. In the meantime, I'll just use the last stable version (before 2.2.2) of the utility. I've updated everything else to 2.2.2. Thanks anyway though.

Were you root? I had the same problem and it worked for me. Also try *.rpm not *rpm as indicated above. kdesu kpackage -- Mark Hounschell dmarkh@cfl.rr.com
