I know: "OT:" doesn't make it On Topic, but I'll try anyway, because I know there are some pretty amazingly smart and intelligent people in here (poof!).
Who are you calling a poof? :)
I have this little replay-script from Peter Cox (unreachable..). It replays hexpackets captured by tcpdump. It replays it in real-time, like you're replaying a video. You see the session (any port) as it -was- done, at the same speed as it was done.
But: the script doesn't read the data entirely in the right fashion. This is probably a minor adjustment to the new version of tcpdump, but I'm no programmer. It is a perl script.
I'm asking for a little programming-help: this script need a tiny adjustment by someone who understands it. It's a fairly simple script from the look of it, and I'm sure any programmer that has some knowledge of perl can do it. I can't; I'm no programmer. ;-)
If someone is up to it, I can attach it in here (2 KB or so or send it by e-Mail)
Post it here or mail it to me, together with what you feel the problem is, and I can look at it. //Anders
