Hello, I got this problem and could not find a single thing on the net about this. I got win xp pro working with samba 2.2.2 PDC. netlogon scripts execute and shares are mounted. The problem is any shares cannot be accessed after they are mounted. The error says: (driveletter):\ refers to a location that is unavailable. It could be on a harddrive on this computer, or on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to another location. I am pretty sure this is a local problem on the win xp machine since it worked under win2k. I looked around local security settings but nothing really there addresses network shares and drive mounting permissions. Love to hear from anybody with insights on this. Thanks, mk _________________________________________________________________ Join the worlds largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
