i just install suse 7.3, great system. but i don't know how to install new packages through FTP using Yast2. when i go to "Software/ change source of installation" then i choose the "Network" option: for ip i put: ftp.suse.com for Directory on the server: /pub/suse/i386/current it gives me an error: no route to host but this same configuration works fine for Yast. so how can i install packages using FTP with Yast2? also, not all the packages with yast are updated, for example mozilla is still 9.4. where can i get new suse packages? also, are Suse supports RPMs, does that mean i can get packages that are made for RedHat and install them on Suse without problems, if not what are the conditions? please replay to my email too.
