In Kmail in KDE3 beta there's an interesting new function called POPfilters, where you can filter on just about everything, just like normal filters. One of the things you can decide to do in your filter rule is to not download the mail. This sounds just like what Landy wants. I haven't actually tried it, so I don't know how, or even if, it works, but it sounds very useful for someone sitting on a slow modem connection. Merry Christmas Anders
