Dear Louis, First of all, you made me blush deeply when you said "old 266mhz machine." Mine isn't *that* old, and it's a measly 133 MHz... I'm a bit confused when you say "during the boot process..." Do you mean during the boot process OF the installation phase, or you already installed it and then went to boot? IF the hangup is almost at the beginning of installation process, then try this: restart the process and when the splash screen offers the installation choices (Linux, Linux-Safe Settings etc.) choose Linux-Safe Settings. That's how I was able to install 7.3 Personal. Regards, gr A wise man said, "A bad day is when I'm six feet underground."
