I followed the documentation and moved /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue to qmail-queue-real. Then I created a link /var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue which points to /usr/sbin/amavis. Now I cannot send mail to the server from the outside world. I get the following error message: 554 qq permanent problem (#5.3.0) below is an excerpt from the logs =============================== Dec 21 15:28:39 gardner smtpd: 1008970119.271281 tcpserver: pid 10965 from 207.228.11.18 Dec 21 15:29:05 gardner smtpd: 1008970145.302811 tcpserver: ok 10965 :65.81.100.252:25 :207.228.11.18::28943 Dec 21 15:29:06 gardner smtpd: 1008970146.390807 Can't do setuid Dec 21 15:29:09 gardner smtpd: 1008970149.260978 tcpserver: end 10965 status 0 Dec 21 15:29:09 gardner smtpd: 1008970149.261086 tcpserver: status: 0/40 =============================== I need some help to figure this one out. Thanks. ~Dale Did you check all file permissions? Take care with these because tcpserver uses "setuidgid" to perform actions on mail. /var/qmail/supervise/qmail-smtpd must be chmod +t, owner root.root, and launch application by "setuidigid command". I will try another time to be more explicative if you don't understand my explanation... Sorry! Bye.
