Yep, that's the ticket for me. I will never buy an OEM box. I make my own. Learn more about computers and if something goes wrong with a piece of hardware/software I have replacement parts/packages/programs that will suffice until the new stuff is refunded/replaced. This way I don't have to send back my box and be without a comp. I only have to haggle with the vid-card/hdd/publisher/etc.. about the klugded stuff, rather than deal with the aggrevation of not having my box or getting back a box that has the original problem fixed - but comes with a new kludged periph (this happened to a friend - I don't even want to go into that horror story).
