Anti-aliassing works fine on my SuSE 7.1 box with KDE 2.2.1. Unfortunately it doesn't work with Java (JDK 1.3.1-01 from Sun) applications. Java still uses ugly fonts that look like they were made with lego bricks. Yuk! When I start a Java application from a terminal window I see a list of the following error messages: Font specified in font.properties not found [--symbol-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific] What can I do to make Java applications (the fonts) to look better in KDE?
